Welcome to our new online education system. As of February 1st, a materials fee of $10 has been added to the cost of our courses. This fee is not a part of the price listed here and is due on the first day of class.
General Course Information
- Instructors may make minor adjustments to class schedules.
- All classes require a minimum of eight students.
- Two certificated classe s may not be taken concurrently.
- A minimum of 162 hours of study, including Foundational Class or Beyond Limits, Spiritual Practices and the Essential Ernest Holmes two additional certificated classes are required prior to entering the Practitioner Program. If more than three years have elapsed since the last certificated SOM class, the student is required to repeat the Foundational Class and be registered at UCRS Global Service Center before entering Practitioner I.
- Childcare is not provided and parents must make private arrangements
- Registration for all classes close s after the first session is complete.
Tuition Information
- Early Bird tuition cut-off date is the first day of class. Payment for class must be paid in full to receive the Early Bird special.
- Registration fee must be paid at time of sign up. Payments over time are accepted for Tuition. Tuition can be spread out over the length of the class with the final payment due no later than the second to last class
- Audits require payment of 50% of the regular class tuition fee. A certificated class may be audited within three years of taking the Foundational Class. Certificates are not issued on audits. Revised courses are not auditable.
Refund Policy
Tuition refunds are issued on a prorated basis. Students may drop out of a class within one to three sessions, depending on the length of the class (Example 4-5 week class = 1st session, 6-8 week class = 2nd session etc.). A $25 Administrative Fee is deducted from all tuition refunds. The Registration Fee is forfeited (This goes to Home Office).

10 weeks Thursday, 6:30 - 9:30 PM This class takes the Foundational principles and offering them in a new format for beginning students as well as those unfamiliar with Science of Mind. Topics include Oneness, spiritual mind treatment, the reciprocal universe, the creative process, hidden beliefs and other essential principles. It also offers new wording and ideas for presenting our basic ideas in new ways. It is an ideal refresher for those who have taken the original Foundational Course at other times. The message remains the same - and you have changed and will hear it differently. Give yourself the gift renewal through spiritual education in 2008! You’ll experience: Powerful practical tools for everyday miracles, utilizing visioning, prayer and meditation; your access to infinite possibilities, authentic expression of your purpose and gifts, your essential spirituality freed of superstition, guilt and fear. Students advance to treating for other people. This class is 10 weeks. (30 Certification Hours) Prerequisite: Foundational Class, New Foundations, or Beyond Limits Textbooks: Journey of Awakening by Ram Dass and Can We Talk to God? by Ernest Holmes also The Science of Mind, by Ernest Holmes Begins April 14, 2009 The roots of Science of Mind run deep and wide, through the religions, philosophies, literature, legends, and science of humankind. They are Universal Truths, Universal Principles, which were encountered, recognized, synthesized, and structured into “a philosophy, a faith, a way of life,” and called the Science of Mind by an ardent young spiritual explorer named Ernest Holmes. A persistent questioner and rejecter of the accepted religious teachings of his day and culture, Ernest as a small boy was nicknamed “the eternal question box.” This class was based on selected chapters from three books: Emerson’s Essays by Ralph Waldo Emerson, The Edinburgh and Dore Lectures of Judge Thomas Troward, and Scientific Christian Mental Practice by Emma Curtis Hopkins. This class is 10 weeks. This is an exploration of an expanded and empowered life. Tuesdays Relationships of all kinds surround us. We can't escape relationships, nor would we want to, they are essential ingredients in the entire course of our human experience. But we can at least begin to learn how to make them more fulfilling, freeing and empowering, for ourselves and those who share them with us. We will explore the basic tools of living with relationships in this 5 week course. Prerequisite: None; non-certificated Textbooks: None Workbook Provided
