Sometimes belief gets in the way of our experience of the Infinite. Any belief, no matter how empowering, tends to be self-perpetuating and preserving. This inevitably creates parameters and limits to possibility. Wouldn't it be great if we could just live in an eternal now, always fully present in a given moment, always wide open to a direct and divine experience?
Alas, our brains don't work that way most of the time. We're stuck with belief.
But I'd like to suggest that there is a way to own our beliefs and use our beliefs rather than letting them run us unconsciously.
We can claim our beliefs powerfully and boldly, transforming our lives and in the process transforming the world.
Join me this Sunday, February 5, as we explore the sometimes-convoluted interplay between Truth, Belief, and Doctrine.
Who let the Dogmas Out? We did!

This course is a loving tribute to Dr. Ernest Holmes and all of the wisdom he brought to our world. The course is based upon What We Believe and each week the student has the opportunity to examine these ideas and uncover ways to make the power of this teaching come alive in her/his life. Each week has a meditation on light that takes the student progressively deeper and deeper into the light to find inner truth.

The example of Martin Luther King Jr., is such a powerful one, not only for the things he was able to accomplish, but more importantly for the way he did it. He truly epitomized the call of Ernest Holmes to be for something and against nothing, and his success and lasting impact shows us how effective the approach of being guided by love and connection can be.

Join us on Sunday as we explore how to tap into the energy of being for something and against nothing.

“Returning hate for hate multiplies hate, adding deeper darkness to a night already devoid of stars. Darkness cannot drive out darkness: only light can do that. Hate cannot drive out hate: only love can do that.” Martin Luther King Jr.

This workshop is about moving from the ordinary to the extraordinary. It is for busy people who want to become more conscious and successful. It is for people who feel overwhelmed, overworked and overcommitted. It is for people who feel stuck and want to birth ‘that something’ inside of them that is screaming to be released in exceptional ways.

We live in a culture that places a lot of attention and advertising dollars on acquiring something. That could mean jobs, relationships, money, power or status. It is wonderful to feel comfortable but it is better to be joyous and fulfilled. That state comes from being connected to self and being clear about how our thoughts and behaviors affect the environment we inhabit. The extraordinary person is awake, available and authentic. That means they are conscious in how they live, respond and express. The truth is, no one is ordinary, everyone has the potential of expressing in a state of the extraordinary.
